A team of students of SRN International School was invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to exhibit their project “Eco-Black Tank” on the Children’s Day in 2019.

This project was selected among the top eight projects in the ATL Tinkering Marathon 2018 organised by the NITI Aayog, Government of India.

The Hon’ble President honoured them by inviting them to the Rashrapati Bhavan for exhibiting their project. He had  interaction with the students and team members and evinced keen interest in the project and students shared their experience with him. He exhorted the students to work on the project aimed at solving problems of the people and give boost to the economy of the country. He congratulated them and gave best wishes for the success of their endeavors. The team comprised of Vansh Sharma, Rakshita Gadia, Vanshika Soni and their mentor Mr. Naveen Kumar.

This felicitation was embellished and accomplished when all the three students were awarded with a cash prize of 25,000/- each and a merit certificate. This award brought loads of happiness and merriment during this crucial time of pandemic cvid-19. The prize brought a bundle of enthusiasm, spark and encouragement to all the students to work more efficiently for innovative projects.

Congratulating the team members, the Chairman of the school Sh. Ravi Shankar IFS (Retd.) asked the students to work on the project which can generate employment and solve problems of common man.

Applauding the team Mrs. Usha Sharma, Principal of the school, emphasized the need and relevance of innovation designed to save problems of masses.
