The dawn of Republic Day found all souls at SRN spurred with patriotism and a sense of pride being Indian. The celebrations commenced at 10:30 a.m. as the Chief Guest, Dr Karan Vasnani, founder and Director of Karnjiva Child Development and Geriatric wellness Centre, ignited the Lamp, symbolizing the peace and harmony of every religion.  As the chief guest winched the national flag, the tricolour unfurled majestically against the blue sky, showering the rose petals below. All SRNians sang National Anthem in unison. Students of Serene House, Valour House, Quest House and Harmony House marched past with puffed chests, maintaining their ranks and file, saluting the national flag.
The primary section presented an exotic tableau in which the students were dressed as freedom fighters. Later, SRN choir sang a patriotic song to commemorate the tricolor of India and its significance. It was followed by Hindi & English ardent speeches befitting the occasion. The junior section also displayed their skills with callisthenic exercises. Patriotic Dance drama depicting the life of a soldier safeguarding our nation in most adverse situations infused a feeling and a spirit of patriotism in everyone who witnessed the pride moment.
In the end, the Chief Guest cherished the marvelous performance of the students and applauded the efforts of Principal Usha Sharma, staff and students for such a wonderful performance on Republic Day and inspired the students to work mutually for the evolution of the egalitarian nation. He addressed the students and motivated them to follow the Indian constitution and wished success in life to everyone.
