With hearts as heavy as lead all the students of Std. XII assembled in the open auditorium of S.R.N. International School for the farewell and good luck to the outgoing batch. The idea of perennial separation from their alma mater immersed them in nostalgic sentiments.
The ceremony commenced by welcoming the students by showering the petals of flowers. The proceedings were then followed with Ganesh Vandana. Subsequently the Chief Guest of the occasion Dr Amar Patnaik Ji, Asst. Professor, MNIT, Chairman Mr. Ravi Shankar Sharma IFS (Retd) School Principal Mrs. Usha Sharma illuminated the lamp of knowledge with the entire 12th Science, Commerce & Humanities batch. Next was the pledge which was taken by the passing out batch for the discipline in further life and for future. Along with this students also pledged to do service for the nation wholeheartedly.
The students were then given mementos, flowers, group photographs and Bhagwad Geeta’s Literature. Eventually, mentors laid bare a documentary made by them in which the good luck wishes from the entire school staff were comprised and that overwhelmed the ambiance with warm and emotional feelings. Lastly, a vote of thanks was delivered. The event culminated with handshakes and tears.
At the culmination of the program, the Chief Guest enunciated eulogized and acknowledged the presence in the ceremony. He insisted that students must be disciplined, self-driven and focused on the goal. He urged students must follow disciplinary rules in life.
Addressing the students of XII for the last time, Chairman Shri Ravi, IFS (Retd) Sharma appealed the passing out batch to always stay on the path of goodwill & said that we should, at every step, bring about positive change in our lives & in lives of others by our lives & affirmative action. He wished everybody the best of luck for their bright future prospect.
