Atal Innovation Mission , NITI Aayog , Government of India envisaged a novel programme - establishment of Atal Tinkering Laboratories in schools across the country which aims to cultivate spirit of innovations among school children and prepare/make million of child innovators. SRN International School is proud of being one of the schools selected under the Atal Innovation Mission wherein the Union Government provided support for modern lab for taking up research-related activities. It is a step towards a new India. ATL lab would teach students essential 21st-century skills which will help them in developing their professional and personal skills.

The lab boosts scientific innovation at the school. The lab is equipped with ‘Do-it-yourself Kits’ and all the instruments related to Science along with an Ideation Studio. The main attraction of the lab was a 3-D Printer. 3-D printing is the crusade of technology in recent time.

It was a proud moment for SRNians and the school on Aug 15, 2018 as they witnessed the inauguration of the coveted Atal Tinkering Lab. The lab was inaugurated by eminent dignitary Dr Amar Patnaik, Associate Professor, MNIT. He had been the recipient of many National and International Awards.

Students have prepared innovative and futuristic models like Anti Sleep Alarm , Autonomous Farming Robot, Water Vending Machine, Self-Sustaining Temblor Endurant Bed, Energy Saver Water Heater, Community Underground Storage and Bio-Diesel to name a few. All these models are actually a reflection of SRNians attitude of giving it back to the society. The young innovators are confidently handling the queries of the guests and audience.

S.R.N. International School, Jagatpura, Jaipur has added another exaltation to its name as its exceptionally brilliant students team participated in ATL TINKERING MARATHON 2019 and our ATL project Eco Black Tank has been selected amongTOP-08 schools across India.

It’s a matter of pride that our project was not only acknowledged and appreciated by Niti Aayog, Government of India but also by the Hon’ble President of India on the occasion of Children’s day 2019 The students showcased and explained their project to the President of India which rapted him a lot. The President of India congratulated the students and enunciated that such competitions help the students in realizing their innovative ideas and potential. He encouraged them to take up career for research and development in the country.

This felicitation was embellished and accomplished when all the three students were awarded with a cash prize of 25,000/- each and a merit certificate. This award brought loads of happiness and merriment during this crucial time of pandemic cvid-19. The prize brought a bundle of enthusiasm, encouragement ,spark and encouragement to all the students to work more efficiently for innovative projects.

In the row of achievements SRN has been declared Atal of the Month for three consecutive monthsin the year 2019 and2020 viz. Oct.2019, Nov.2019 and Dec.2019 & April 2020, May 2020 and June 2020 &Sept. 2020, Oct. 2020 and Nov. 2020.

The approach of Government of India is to create an environment of scientific temperament, innovation, creativity amongst Indian Students. SRNians are enthusiastically stepping towards a new India, mastering in essential 21st-century skills which will help them in developing their professional and personal skills..
